Let me preface this article by saying that I know there are times when a woman is the aggressor. When a big 6ft 250 lb gorilla chick will club her man to emasculate him and any retaliation results in him being thrown in jail. I get that, I understand it and I know when it comes to fights the man is playing with a 7 and a 2 off suit. Still, if your sumo girlfriend socks you I have no beef with you for socking her back, what I do have beef with is if she comes out the mouth at you (and you are strong enough to  literally bench press her), you closing your fist and pounding her. That’s not cool, a strong dude can check a woman without going there, why do you?

As a child growing up into adulthood most little boys are taught that it is not okay to hit girls. Still my belief that we all are innately savages at heart leads me to believe that without instruction this is not seen as common sense. This month our Lady Dragon is Rihanna and although she has a beautiful singing voice, the thing she will be remembered for is the blows she recieved from Chris Brown. What led me write this article is the fact that it seems to be getting worse than better. When little boys are taught against this, they normally listen and will find other ways to punish a woman, but I am sure than I am not the only one who recalls a kid or two on the playground who had no qualms with socking a little girl.

Though I am far from being a blind white knight rushing in to proclaim “there is absolutely never, EVER a time when a man should raise his hand to a woman!” (with much bravado and chest puffed out), I will say that the few times you should are normally rare. As a fighter and a pretty scrappy guy, I have dated psychos, been to clubs with dumb drunk bitches and had my share of an assault or two – still I have no female knockouts under my belt nor do I plan to. Some guys, normally the drunk savage ones will say differently. Coincidentally many of the women punchers you meet will have little to no experience throwing hands with a dude. To sum it up I am saying that they are sub-man, they lack balls and they are not gentlemen. While a gentleman may shake, curse at, or throw a drink in the face of a particularly evil wench, he will never – let me repeat never close his fist when coherent. What happened to the old fashioned slap, or calling her guy out for fisticuffs? When did we become so weak as a race men? I’ll tell you when, it happened around the time the internet became life and lacking balls became a fad.

There is a difference between a brute who will pound anybody who disrespects him and a guy who beats a woman because he can. The former can be classified as a classless warrior-type who must be handled with kids gloves while the latter is pretty much classified as a punk or a little bitch to other guys. You’ve seen these guys, freshly pounded by the woman’s boyfriend, husband or brother after the fact and playing the bitch role ever so eloquently. Think Carlo from The Godfather when Santino went after him for beating on Connie. Ya Carlo is somewhat of a poster boy for guys like this. Ladies you want a good indication for a guy that will punch you? Here it is, he may be male because he was born with the tools to be a male but his swagger is suspect, he would rarely fight another guy out of honor and he’s in the mirror a lot more than you are. Start there, it seems to be a trend with these pretty, bitch-made guys willing to pop off and slug women. Do a little research and see, it ain’t only real thugs and trailer trash throwing hands on women. Observe:

Inexcusable. The thing I don’t understand is why didn’t I hear about this dude being mudhole stomped into the bar floor after decapitating that girl? None of our business right? Fair enough. So here’s the thing gents, unless you are actually fighting a girl – as in boxing, martial arts, MMA or real fighting (as in she is fighting you back), decking a woman with a closed fist is about as bitch as you will get. Come on! Stay classy fellas.
