choosing-a-career-path

By the time I was a High School senior with aspirations for college, I had already changed my career path several times. Being into military things and watching way too many movies like Iron Eagle and Top Gun , I originally wanted to be an officer and a fighter pilot; this was squelched when someone convinced me that my height would be an issue for flying jets. Prior to High School I wanted to pursue a medical path, and then there was my Architect phase. Looking back at all of these changes, much of my influence came from talking to the wrong people about my career path and it made me enter into a University system unsure of what it was that I wanted to be when I grew up. Like many of you younger people reading I assumed that a career was something you took… [Read more]

sperm-burglar-woman-smiling

“Spurglar: a woman who steals sperm to ‘accidentally’ fall pregnant”. Thank you Cosmopolitan for coming up with a new word to define this act. Sure the number of women that are seeking education and careers are getting higher (very thankful to be in that category) and yes when this happens the age that women AND men become parents also has a tendency to also be higher. But does this mean that women should be stealing sperm to get pregnant? Being a single parent definitely isn’t a new concept nor is it an impossible task but should this be the aim that men or women should be seeking? This article was limited to women that had stolen sperm but men can be just as guilty of this too. In my single days, I went on a date with a guy that I met on an online… [Read more]

suit-with-cufflinks

It’s no big secret that cufflinks are one of the classiest accessories a man can have (just ask Don Draper).  They add understated panache to a dress shirt and have the transformative powers to make any average Joe feel like Mr. 007 himself.  The problem that many men experience is that, being that cufflinks is not a piece we incorporate into our everyday attire, we don’t know the first thing about this accessory.  If this describes you (you know who you are) this guide will take you by the hand and show you all of the various types of cufflinks that will help you to dress like a man of distinction. The Big Wide World of Cufflinks Regardless of the type of cufflink you choose, know that the shirt you are accessorizing must have a French cuff. What is that exactly? It means that the… [Read more]

hot-milf-with-mobile-camera

I recently had a conversation with a guy about one of my girls going to the strip club with her husband. His response was “wow…she’s a cool wife”, and then it occurred to me that not many women see the strip club as a place to bond with their man.  They instead see it as a competition thing, like, “I’m not good enough so he’s going to the strip club to look at other women..sniff sniff..”.  That’s a bullshhh way to look at it, because the bottom line is that a man will see, and probably even talk, to other women constantly while you are not around, and not just in the strip club.  You have to know and accept the fact that some of these women are prettier than you, smarter than you, freakier than you, and more into getting your man into bed… [Read more]

romantic-man-on-date

Ever wonder if men treat beautiful women any different than a cute chick when dating? Well the answer to that would be yes and it is something that many men will never admit. Many guys will feign confidence and doing things for themselves but there is nothing like the feeling of being out with a beautiful woman as every guy in the building looks on with what you assume is envy. It’s a machismo thing that many women will never understand but if a man is on a date with a beauty, he will constantly check the room to make sure that the other guys are noticing. Mix in another couple with an equally or more beautiful woman and he’ll chill out but don’t let him think that he is with the best looking woman in there – his head will be the size of… [Read more]

dad-shaving-son

I’ve never been a huge fan of Bro Culture when it comes to men. It is part of the reason why I felt the direction of this magazine needed to go towards dialogue on why masculinity must be redefined by men for men and removed from the stereotype that has been placed on us my popular media. I am not saying that I dislike frat boy culture; I am just saying that it should never define me or you (my male reader) for that matter. Men are much more than our base desires but we need to realize this and fight back when we are being made into simple clowns and idiots. Being limited to a creature whose only desire in life is to ogle tits and ass, drink beer and watch sports is a bit harsh right? So is the basement virgin that plays… [Read more]

friends-can-be-lovers

The friends with benefits game can be a great one – if you find the right people to play. Mere friendship doesn’t guarantee that you will have this amazing, no strings attached, soul connecting sex and conversation and then go on with your fantasy sport draft or whatever else you have to do once the front door closes. Research and studies have found that the friends with benefits (FWB) relationship is one that can prove to be quite successful, but I would imagine that the failed attempts at FWB are a bit harder to conceptualize as well as locate. Mainly because if your FWB did not work out it is because one person in the relationship did not feel that it was simply a FWB relationship. And there we have it: hardest part of making a FWB relationship work is being able to define and hold down… [Read more]

father-in-court

Support for single fathers is a notion that gets dismissed or shrugged off by many of the most hateful women with platforms on the internet. This can be seen through the articles and commentary that cover the subject outside of magazines like this one or by actual supporters of children that come from broken homes. The last time I spoke on this subject I brought up the double standard in dating when a single father goes looking versus a single mother. My article, which was meant to bring attention to the fact that single dads have a hard time dating turned into a feeding frenzy for the standard, angry internet woman and her ilk. Knowing and seeing two fathers going through hell right now as their child’s mother uses the system and their children to limit time and resources (for more child support) it saddens… [Read more]
