They get fired!

Now as a big watcher of Tru-TV (Probably my favorite channel next to History) I will admit that my “f— the police” attitude has sobered a bit due to the various shows. I mean seeing the other side of things when people are just blatant a-holes can give you empathy for the boys in blue, but I can’t co-sign on a gang beating. And lets be honest here, when you have 5 cops beating on one guy… regardless of what came before it, its some gangland sh-t.

It sucks for all involved, the cops no doubt have families and within these bad economic times, losing a job is not fun. On the other end of the spectrum, when you have all that power and stand arguably above the law, you should not be limited to doing ignant mess like this. I thought these boys would have learnt by now that the camera is the people’s ammunition against bad policing. Except, this time their own hood cam got em in trouble, DUH… hey jackasses, maybe you should turn that thing off next time you go stomping a hole in an unconscious ”perp”. The more things change, the more things stay the same.  I’m sure there will be many more videos like this one coming to light in the next few years. But anyway, here is the video:

As you can tell by the camera’s date this was shot back in 2008. The prosecuters found this video while preparing material for the man’s “attempted murder” trial. I assume these boys kept working after the fact until the video surfaced and then BAM! No more job!
