Though not a fan of beer (drinking it makes me worry that I’ll develop a cast-iron gut that protrudes beyond my chest). I am more a James Bond Martini man, call it a girly drink if you dare, I’ll turn around and call you a piss drinking savage. No, no, not the beer for this gent but as you know I do like a good commercial and whilst watching the recap of the Colts game a Budweiser commercial came on that made me smile. Budweiser – Greetings – It’s What We Do is from the same vein of “it’s a man thing” that brought us the overplayed Wassup! of yester-year. Take a look at this ad, and more importantly peep the facial expressions on the women as their respective cornballs bump chests, do weird fist bumps and exchange man hugs. It is absolutely hilarious, even moreso because I have seen THAT LOOK before.
Let’s face it women do their own brand of weird sh-t like cuddle together to watch soap operas, overdose on shoe shopping and try to diss each other for no reason but we have our own and this commercial is a perfect example. The king of beers has always been the king of ads in my own opinion and they continue to rein supreme.
