There’s a lot to be said about hustling. You will find that a lot of “hustlers” brag on their ability to take a beating and “do what it takes,” but is that something to brag about? Their life is not really enviable, is it? It’s not enough to hustle, just like it’s not enough to be self-employed. – which people brag about quite a bit. Speaking from experience, a good number of people who brag about having their own thing are not doing as well as they would have you believe. Remember, entrepreneurship is a lonely journey. After several years of writing my own checks and grinding out 12 hour workdays, the idea of “being my own boss,” paled in comparison to the idea of “getting out.” I never bragged about my hustling but I know that a lot of people envied me for “setting my own… [Read more]

While I will lose a ton of cool blogger points for this post, I would like to tell you readers that it is ultimately you that drives the content that you read on a daily basis. Bigger sites may get around this due to their unlimited capital for paying writers and advertising, but if you want to change what you are seeing you are not entirely powerless. The following items are things that I know will help you traverse the waves of information a lot easier and cut out the noise that you don’t really want to read. 01. Remember that we are not talking about you personally If I had a nickel for every time that I wrote something about a situation and someone took offense I would have enough change to buy myself a tailored Italian suit. I want to remind you that… [Read more]

Time and time again I run into men and women that have big dreams but lack the ability to set them in motion. To them, people who move on their ideas have a special gift; more drive, and more education. I don’t think that this is true. Many times an idea being made into a reality has to come from you breaking ground and attempting to build–even if it’s completely wrong. What I have found is that as you build upon it, the people that know how to do it correctly will help you out in correcting your approach and when you have it built incorrectly, you will have no qualms with tearing it down and trying again. The biggest part in all of this is that you put forth the effort. “A brilliant idea with no execution is worthless” Have you ever met someone… [Read more]

Many people want to wear the “hustler” label because it sounds cool and all of the ex-drug dealers who rap are making it out to be the essence of manhood. The truth of the matter is that many so-called hustlers (especially self-proclaimed hustlers) are just wannabes, busy-bodies, or small time businessmen who hustle backwards. To be a hustler you have to do exactly what the definition says – you have to be “about it”, on your game, and seize the moment whenever it presents itself. hus.tle (hus.tled | hus. tling): a : to obtain by energetic activity <hustle up new customers> b : to sell something to or obtain something from by energetic and especially underhanded activity <hustling the suckers> c : to sell or promote energetically and aggressively<hustling a new product> d : to lure less skillful players into competing against oneself at (a… [Read more]

Alexis Wright in court

We are a modern society with age old laws that serve as a quick fix band-aid for huge wounds. The war on drugs and the continued persecution of prostitutes is an example of this. The vices of sex and drugs has continued to be one of violence and criminal opportunity due to them being illegal. I feel as if the only thing this country learned from prohibition is that the smartest and richest people in the game are the ones who sell people what they want. Recently the latest witch to be burned at the stake of modern prohibition is a Maine, Zumba instructor by the name of Alexis Wright. Charged with over 100 counts of prostitution, Alexis and her clients are being pursued by the Maine court of law. Due to Alexis keeping meticulous records of her clients and the $150,000 made from her side-hustle, the… [Read more]

couple spooning

So how much would you pay to have someone to snuggle with for an hour, probably nothing right? Especially you men out there who – like me find the act of spooning, cuddling and other touchy, touchy, gameplay a bit of a bother (unless there is a chance of sex happening). Many women reading are probably wondering why, well let me explain; for us guys spooning normally means one arm will be going numb from the lack of circulation (being trapped under you) or it means we will be stuck watching a Rom-Com while we “cuddle” ugh! Well apparently a lot of people in this world need human contact; so much so that they are willing to pay a petite little lady by the name of Jaqueline Samuel $60 an hour to “cuddle” with them. Jaqueline’s company is called The Snuggery and it provides an… [Read more]
