“I’m trying to wife you up so I can love you down, I come across town to hear that Ooh Ahh sound…” This short film by Turquoise Jeep is a love story that can touch both men and women not only with the hilarious cast of characters but the real situation of true love and a man going for his. It’s a well done video but what else do you expect from The Jeep? The film features Flint Flossy, Watchyamacallit, Tummy Scratch, Young Humma, Pretty Raheem, Slick Mahoney and a new hottie member Moonrock. It has 2 music videos within it and is specifically about Flint Flossy losing his beautiful Bengladesh girlfriend and becoming depressed about it. If you’ve listened to any of Turquoise Jeep’s videos in the past there is no doubt that you’re a fan – but no worries every character in the Turquoise Jeep family is in this video somewhere even the… [Read more]
For those of you who showed much concern for your children and others who may have seen the AXE Ball Scrubber Commercial, AXE has taken note of your feedback and issued an Official Press Conference to address your questions. While I may have not found anything wrong with the ad, I do realize that my immature sense of humor may have blinded me from the wicked implications that an ad like it could bring to innocent eyes. But this was short-lived, as comments like the following from Gunluvr showed me that some people out there were truly offended by the idea of clean balls: “It is a disgusting and offensive commercial. Garbage like that should be shown on HBO or some other venue of scum to the moral and sexual deviants that it appeals to. One good thing about living in a Muslim country is that people who make commercials like this one are dealt… [Read more]
Once in awhile I stumble upon a true gem that has me rolling with laughter after watching it several times. Well normally the songs aren’t meant to be laughed at and I am merely cracking up off the lack of talent but this time the intent was for laughs coupled with actual talent in the music. Presenting Turquoise Jeep Records, a label which has many Youtubers wishing their music was actually available for download and the cause of my new headache from laughing and crying too hard. Their official YouTube channel is at: http://www.youtube.com/user/TurquoiseJeepMusic (subscribe and show them some love) and they have a mix tape in the works which I can’t wait to get my hands on. Anyway I know you want to laugh as hard as I have, so enjoy my favorite 4 videos from Pretty Raheem, Watchymacallit, Slick Mahony, Flynt Flossy and Young Humma. SEX SYRUP – Slick Mahony ft Yung Humma… [Read more]
Okay I’m a little late to the party on this one but it is entirely too amazing a commercial to pass up. Michael Strahan ex-defensive sack master talks about his love for Doctor Pepper and even goes as far as sacking his good friend Donovan McNabb in order to prove his point. The hilarity has more to do with McNabb’s awesome acting as it does the sack itself. To think Strahan retired and is still punking poor McNabb in the off-season. This my friends is how you do a football commercial… but it’s for a carbonated beverage. In any event, if you haven’t seen it, here it is Dr Pepper and Michael Strahan’s “Sack”. Now all of us old hats can argue that Hip Hop died sometime between 1995 and 1996, while you younglings will say that the music is still going strong etc. Regardless of that old argument, we fans can agree that there are a collective of videos and songs that just make you cringe whenever you hear them. Others are just plain bad and it might have caused that person to be permanently placed on your “do not listen” list due to the wackness. Anyway, being that myself and Nia are Hip Hop heads through and through, we got together and came up with a few videos that we consider to be a black mark on Hip Hop history. Please do not get upset if these turds strike up bad memories for you, we do this in good fun… enjoy: 1. J-Lo and The Lox – Jenny From The Block As a listener and fan of… [Read more]
So Axe has always been great at playing up to the inner perv in us all with their commercials involving chicks ripping off clothes, giving it up in libraries and licking chocolate men on trains (I can sooooo get down with this) – but this time around, I think they have outdone themselves. Presenting the Axe Ball Cleaner with actress Jaime Pressly (a certified lady Dragon) as tennis champ Monica Blake – demonstrating the product quite effectively. The funniest part of the ad has to be when hostess Denese Saintclaire begins playing with a pair of golfballs… you just have to see it. Good job Axe, I even remember the product you are really selling AFTER seeing the ad, so it works! Hell I’ll probably pick it up next time I’m out shopping., just in case it comes with a Jaime Pressly to scrub the… nevermind, I gotta go cool off. Peace! NEW! Axe… [Read more]
For those of you who grew up on a healthy dose of pron like myself, you will no doubt find the PG Porn series of videos hilarious. This one reminds me of the group Bang Bros and their collective videos of “Gonzo” reality television porn including Bang Bus which this video directly parodies. The premise of those old videos was to have a few guys drive around neighborhoods and give random hawtes rides with each guy taking a turn per episode. If you haven’t seen a Bang Bus episode then you probably won’t be laughing at this as hard as I am, still it is pretty damn funny on its own merit. My favorite part is the old lady and the look of shock she has through the entire ordeal, not to mention the end which Pedo Bear himself would be proud of – ya disturbing… Is Craig Robinson not a hilarious fool in everything… [Read more]
Okay normally I laugh at LARPs like everyone else, because lets face it, if you aren’t a LARP you are laughing at LARPs. What’s a LARP you may ask? Well it’s a Live Action Role Player or basically someone who loves sword and sorcery to the point where they assume the role of actor/player character with a bunch of other young white people. Yes in my observation of LARPs they tend to lack people of color, you can make your own assumptions on this. For me it’s just an observation, I’m sure there are a few but from what I have seen, I have yet to meet one. So yes, back on topic, I used to laugh my ass off at LARPs but not because they are LARPing I mean there is a thin line between role-playing on a table-top Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game and actually strapping on some armor and beating the shit… [Read more]
