How many of you women reading are completely happy with your breast size and shape? Who is this ideal standard of beauty and proportions that we are all trying to be? Celebrities get multiple surgeries to alter their faces, there’s an increase in penile enhancement surgeries, and women are getting plastic surgery and breast augmentation done.  Is there a standard to this man and woman that we are all trying so desperately to become? What is the perfect breast size, ideal penis size, and what are the preferred facial features for men and women? The infographic that you see below is taken from The Psychology of Human Sexuality blog by Dr. Justin J. Lehmiller. Its numbers speak volumes on the way that women feel about their breast size, but for me it speaks even louder on humanity’s general dissatisfaction with the bodies that we are… [Read more]

It’s no big secret that cufflinks are one of the classiest accessories a man can have (just ask Don Draper).  They add understated panache to a dress shirt and have the transformative powers to make any average Joe feel like Mr. 007 himself.  The problem that many men experience is that, being that cufflinks is not a piece we incorporate into our everyday attire, we don’t know the first thing about this accessory.  If this describes you (you know who you are) this guide will take you by the hand and show you all of the various types of cufflinks that will help you to dress like a man of distinction. The Big Wide World of Cufflinks Regardless of the type of cufflink you choose, know that the shirt you are accessorizing must have a French cuff. What is that exactly? It means that the… [Read more]

Do you have a hairy chest? Well someone has a problem with it; bare chest – well someone else has a problem with it. I get confused with the opinions that I see in articles, interviews and random comments where a man’s chest is concerned and it makes me wonder why everyone has something to say about a man’s chest hair. I recently read an article online where the author was making a case for men being objectified (yup you read that correctly), and the signs to look for to determine whether a man was being made into a piece of meat, or a human being. The conclusion he came up with was in whether or not the man’s chest is shaved. The point was that bodybuilders, models, and workout enthusiasts tend to shave and are normally the ones being shown in magazines for their… [Read more]

As a grown man who loves music there may be times when your instinct is to dress according to the musical culture as opposed to the safe boundaries of “grown folks” gear. We’ve all seen it… and we have all judged the man based on his clothes. You know exactly what I am talking about; men in sideways caps and jerseys, old 80’s rocker t-shirts, wife-beaters… I can keep going. See the problem with dressing this way is that you are expected to do a bit better than follow “the wave” as a confident man. Some old-school rappers still dress a certain way but even though it represents the culture, and is expected of them, it still looks childish to anyone on the outside looking in. This is why we stress a time and a place for your wardrobe. Clothing for the metro-man is like armor for… [Read more]

Ever see a well-dressed old man? There is something almost regal about a cool, grey-haired player with what comes off as an immortal mojo to his style doesn’t it? Well if you aspire to have a style that goes beyond fads, your wife dressing you, or social conventions, then keep reading as we guide you on the path to cool. When you decide that you want to be a gentleman there are a few events, situations, and random annoyances that will pop up to which you will need to be in attendance. It is for this that having the appropriate attire for said events should be purchased and kept in good shape so that when they occur you are not scrambling to purchase a tie, have the salesman tie it for you, and then run off with a crushed up shirt and belt that doesn’t match! Men make the… [Read more]

There is nothing like a man that is well put together and smells good. Appearances are not everything but they are all you have before you actually get to know someone. Personally, I would entertain a guy that is not my type if he is well groomed. And I don’t mean those divo types that are high maintenance males. Give me a man’s man that pays attention to the details. Things like a clean cut face, neatly maintained hair (shaved, dreads, whatever, key word NEAT), clean nails (yes, that matters), and smelling good will get you points with me. Especially the smelling good part. If nothing else it will hold my attention long enough to hear you out. Certain scents I will forever love on most men. I call them my panty droppers. Not every scent works for everybody, something about body chemistry changes the… [Read more]

Awhile back I did an article on men getting penile implants for the sake of feeling “manly” around other men rather than for sexual prowess as they would like us to believe. As with many other insecurities that are 100% on a personal level there is always a tendency to place blame on the opposite sex whenever we are the ones who truly dislike ourselves. On a personal level I have dated 2 very different women, one was top heavy (big breasts) with gams that were envied by most onlooking women–but her butt was small, and another had a donk (plump booty) but her breasts were at most a B-cup. Would you believe that both of these women would complain on a constant basis for lack of having a big ass or breasts? In my man’s mind I wondered at their complaints because to me… [Read more]

salma hayek breasts

Women may find this funny, interesting, pathetic, or just plain crazy but many men, myself included, have found ourselves at a loss in determining whether a woman’s breasts are real or not. Whether this is important is another conversation but the fact that we get confused when it should be apparent strikes me as a problem. I am not talking about the lovely A and B cup ladies of the world (even though an enhanced B is just as well hidden as a larger size) but in today’s American society, I believe that many men think that breasts are supposed to sit on a woman’s chest the way they do with a push-up bra, or with an enhancement. This realization dawned on me after reading a post on actress Tracee Ellis Ross’s new site and thinking back on friends who have complained about a woman’s… [Read more]
