rashida jones basement

It’s bad enough that in the age of Twitter a celebrity’s name can be smeared and damaged uncontested through 140 characters by losers worldwide but nothing beats another celebrity crapping on a legend’s name all for the sake of pimping her new movie. Today’s inmate is none other than Rashida Jones – that cute girl who blew your mind when you found out that she was the daughter of the legendary Quincy Jones.

Crime: Calling out John Travolta publicly

In an interview with SpinningPlatters Jones in a spazztic need to show how much she supports homosexuals like Frank Ocean coming out of the closet – decided to add further crap to John Travolta’s name by suggesting that he too is secretly gay.

Rashida Jones along with ex-lover friend and “Celeste And Jesse Forever” co-writer Will McCormack issued the roast of Travolta’s name via the following:

McCormack: There needs to be, like, a professional athlete that comes out.

Jones: And a movie star! It’s time.

McCormack: Yeah, like a big one.

Jones: A movie star. Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.

After realizing how stupid it is to not only smear a legend like Travolta’s name but to risk dishonoring the name of the legend who birthed her (Quincy Jones), Rashida took to Twitter for damage control:

jones apology tweet

Sounds like the sort of apology a kid makes after daddy tightens them up right? We see you Mr. Quincy Jones! Good move on her part but the internet doesn’t forget and it may be too late. Travolta has been through a lot recently with the death of his son and every scandal rag now wondering about his sexuality. I think the last thing he needs is a little Hollywood princess throwing logs unto the bonfire of hate that is trying to smear him into oblivion.

Length of Time: 1 Month

Rashida has done more good than bad and I don’t like having to lock her up but she needs a month of time-out to write Mr. Travolta an apology letter instead of a lame Twitter nudge. It’s hard enough for true gay people to come out (why do they have to in the 1st place… who the f-ck cares?!) but coming out at the suggestion of a bully in an interview is probably not going to happen.

Stay Classy Rashida, we still you love you baby.
