Okay, I don’t normally issue warnings when I write would-be offensive material but I am issuing one right now. People for whatever reason love to associate themselves with others that are being called out, and I am more than sure you readers will do the same. If you are a complainer, or an “activist” in name only, that looks for things to be pissed about so that you can post, hashtag, or appropriate for the sole reason of playing the part of victim then you should be offended by what I am about to say.  It’s probably a bittersweet feeling as you’re sitting on the couch watching the final moments of the 2013 NFL season coming to an end at the Super Bowl. Bitter because there’s no football for another 6 months, and sweet because you keep telling yourself that next year is ‘Our Year’. Nonetheless, we saw Russell Wilson hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in a frigid New Jersey setting which was pretty memorable for such a young quarterback, but we also can’t forget about the interview heard around the world that occurred two weeks ago (can’t stop talking about this right?).
