Greg Dragon Author

I’m always honored when someone wants to interview little ‘ol me about writing. It gives me a chance to speak about the act of writing itself, which like any other art, is a passion where the person behind the works is ignored–unless they become an Andy Weir. LuxeLifeATL.com is a lifestyle magazine in Atlanta that features much of the news, entertainment, and the arts & culture. If you plan to visit chocolate city anytime soon, you may want to check them out to see what’s going on. From the Interview: I grew up on Science Fiction shows and movies, and I have always read Sword and Sorcery. As I grew older however, I began to notice that Science Fiction had people who looked like me, whereas Sword and Sorcery didn’t. This naturally made me pay attention to Science Fiction more, and I fell in love… [Read more]

anstractor book, greg dragon author

So I’ve written a book, a real book of 316 pages filled with all sorts of romantic drama, military skirmishes, and space ships running sorties on planets to liberate aliens. This is a far cry from many of the topics here but believe it or not, it really isn’t. My book “Anstractor” is a story about an orphaned boy who grows up to join the military and eventually help in the fight to win his planet back. For those of you who follow The Hall of The Black Dragon you know that my love and respect for our military brethren is pretty evident in my writing. Some of the articles that influenced the book are the ones which honored heroes such as Audie Murphy, Ed Eaton, and Henry Lincoln Johnson. Where romance came in, the hero of my story (if you can call him that)… [Read more]

The show is fun, loose, and most of all respectful. Unlike many other shows that feature a male and a female giving relationship advice, it is all love on The Love Jones Experience. Check out Greg Dragon’s segment below, and let us know if you agree or disagree with his advice on “paying attention”. If you like the show, feel free to follow the Goddess on Twitter at @goddess_jones, or on Facebook at The Love Jones Experience Radio… [Read more]

dragon baby posing

Remember Iron Baby, the adorable chibi Iron Man who was doing all sorts of kick-ass stunts in his mini Mach 7 suit? Well now the creators of the YouTUBE phenomenon have come out with Dragon Baby and he is perfect. First of all his technique is not to be messed with; he’s sporting the Game of Death / Kill Bill bride suit (only to be worn by Kung Fu gods) and he has the tools to get the job done. It starts out innocently enough when Dragon Baby happens across a plush Dragon in his backyard with the rest of his toys; pushing it over to test it’s strength — like any other kid would do, the baby goes over to play with something much more interesting when the beast hops up, kicks a ball at the baby and proceeds to pick a fight! The Dragon showcased his… [Read more]

All through life we are told not to judge a book by it’s cover yet big guys are still intimidating to people for some reason. Some short guys even think life as a big man would be better because it automatically will make them seem tough to the world. What if someone calls your bluff? While this may be true when it comes to perception, it is still very dangerous for a giant when you come across someone who knows that size has little to do with combat. Editor’s note: Before I explain more, please allow me to clarify one thing. The big man I reference in this article is not a Dolph Lundgren (ie: a well-trained martial artist panther with some skill), I am referring to “regular” big guys who were born both tall and husky but lack the training to back-up their false sense… [Read more]

Game of Thrones is one of the hottest series on HBO right now for many reasons not limited to the intrigue, drama, acting and cinematography. Well as you know beneath the makeup and awesome wardrobe are some extremely lovely actresses who you may or may not recognize for this very reason. Today we are highlighting the lovely women behind the queens, the Khaleesis and the maidens of Game of Thrones. So which one of these beauties is your favorite lads? Mine? I’m a lip man, so the curvy, pouty, bow… [Read more]

The Dragon’s Lexicon Because sometimes our language goes well beyond that of the average. Looking for a definition that hasn’t been listed here? Please CONTACT US, tell us about it and we’ll add it to the list. Baguette: A female version of a douchebag… or a jackass. A guy is a douchebag, a girl is a douche-baguette or simply a “baguette” for short. Beat it / Blaze it: Referring to having sex with a woman. ie: Man that chick from last night came over and I blazed it twice. Bird: A Beautiful woman that isn’t very smart. This word is tricky because it depends on the usage, bird as an insult is similar to calling a woman a chicken or a chicken head, she makes a lot of noise, is annoying as hell and almost always is in the way. Bird as a term of endearment… [Read more]
