I go to the movie theater once or twice a week and I’ve noticed the trends with the movies that I attend and the type of audiences that they bring out.  I’ve also noticed what types of people to move away from because it is almost guaranteed that my movie experience will be a nightmare. Theaters have advanced in technology, IMAX 3D being a thing of beauty when coupled with something like James Cameron’s Avatar or any one of Pixar’s masteries for that bright vibrant color. Editor’s Note: So rumor-mill has revealed that Kim Kardashian may be the next Lady Lara Croft on the big screen and that led me to think of this old article I wrote for 3GodKings.com (our sister site). Anna May Wong (1905 – 1961) is the very first Chinese American actress to reach international stardom. Starting off in the United States doing super stereotypical roles (good ‘ol Hollywood, gotta love it), she left for Europe to star in more diverse roles and achieved international stardom there.  One of the biggest disappointments in Anna’s career was due to MGM passing her up as an Asian lead in lieu of a white actress Luise Rainer doing it in “yellow face”. Porn actress Katja Kassin was a hardcore worker and one of my favorite girls up until her retirement last year from the industry. Dear Hollywood, please step away from our video games and anime. It is quite obvious that you cannot transition animated stories into live action properly, regardless of the success that was The Dark Knight and Iron Man. What seems to have been an exploitation of the nerdy sub-culture has gone a bit too far now and I would like for you to back off. I was more than happy back when your depictions of us nerds were glasses wearing, bad postured, asexual losers rather than take our sub-culture seriously and try to resell things we love in a cheap live-action package.
