I lived in Orlando during the frenzy of media looking for little Caylee Anthony in July 2008.  I cussed at my TV when they would break into the Young and the Restless for updates on the fact that they did not find her. Many times on this site we present a side of macho that is super traditional and biased in its stance. The idea of “man” that we normally present is mistaken for the brawler athlete jock who goes to parties, gets the cheerleaders and grows up to inherit daddy’s company. Complacency and closed-mindedness is the quickest way to becoming a boring person even worse a boring boyfriend/husband. If you want to make your lady really cling on to you along with being the envy of her girlfriends you have to become interesting. Being interesting means the willingness to include her into the things that you would normally assume she has no interest in. You have to try crazy things with her and you have to have an edge. There are certain guys that get tried on a daily basis and there are other guys who never get tried for whatever reason. It’s not always about looks because some of the biggest guys still get tried and get their asses beat and some of the smallest guys are avoided by literally everyone. Why is this? Us martial artists like to think of it as an aura that surrounds an individual, lets think of it as colors like a green aura means “try me” and a red aura means “step the hell back”. Many of us would love to have a red aura but we have somewhat of a greenish-yellow tint as in we aren’t tried much but there are times when we get checked.
