When you’re the token “good guy” in a company of women, there will be times when you will be called upon to play the part of Ambassador For Men. The following is a survival guide to help you rep us right and survive the fires of a man-hater. Men, once in a while you will find yourself surrounded by a flock of birds, pecking at you in attempt to have you bleed out the man laws. Most of the time it will be at a house party, but it can happen at work, at a bus stop, or at a car wash window while you watch your pride and joy being buffed and waxed. It is times like this when a man must figure out if he is steadfast in his principles or confused and dazed when made to answer on the fly! Be sure… [Read more]

How do you show confidence without coming off as a total douche to the opposite sex? Time and time again I run into men and women that have big dreams but lack the ability to set them in motion. To them, people who move on their ideas have a special gift; more drive, and more education. I don’t think that this is true. Many times an idea being made into a reality has to come from you breaking ground and attempting to build–even if it’s completely wrong. What I have found is that as you build upon it, the people that know how to do it correctly will help you out in correcting your approach and when you have it built incorrectly, you will have no qualms with tearing it down and trying again. The biggest part in all of this is that you put forth the effort. “A brilliant idea with no execution is worthless” Have you ever met someone… [Read more]

I often hear people complain about the dating scene, women say there are no quality guys and the men say all the women they meet are crazy.  Have you ever heard the term history repeats itself?  Well that holds true in a lot of circumstances especially dating; men and women are attracted to potential partners that are more than likely wrong for them. People typically look for the same type of person to date; even after bad experiences they still go for the same “type” thinking that maybe this person will be different.  There is always that chance, but it is not likely.  If you continue to go after the same type of people, then you can expect to get the same results unless you catch a diamond in the rough. I have talked about this many times, the simple… [Read more]

Many people want to wear the “hustler” label because it sounds cool and all of the ex-drug dealers who rap are making it out to be the essence of manhood. The truth of the matter is that many so-called hustlers (especially self-proclaimed hustlers) are just wannabes, busy-bodies, or small time businessmen who hustle backwards. To be a hustler you have to do exactly what the definition says – you have to be “about it”, on your game, and seize the moment whenever it presents itself. hus.tle (hus.tled | hus. tling): a : to obtain by energetic activity <hustle up new customers> b : to sell something to or obtain something from by energetic and especially underhanded activity <hustling the suckers> c : to sell or promote energetically and aggressively<hustling a new product> d : to lure less skillful players into competing against oneself at (a… [Read more]
